Andy and Clare Bova are the happy new owners of a five-bedroom, 5,519 square foot single-family home at Isola Bella Estates in Lake Worth. Clare’s work as an organizational development professional with Tyco/SimplexGrinnell brought the family to Lake Worth from St. Augustine. They closed on April 7, 2009.
According to Andy, it was the open feel and natural setting that convinced them to purchase in this particular community. The larger home sites and incredible quality of the homes were major selling points as well.
“What we liked most about our home was the Mediterranean-style courtyard that encompasses our pool,” he says. “In terms of the community, we loved the fact that the home sites have a lot of beautiful water views and also that the community seemed extremely family-oriented with its amenities.”

In terms of the financing process, Andy explains, “It was incredibly simple. You hear horror stories sometimes but the whole process was amazing. The mortgage rates are fantastic and the mortgage companies and banks are eager to do business with you, and they were.”
When asked what advice he would give to others who are looking to buy a home, Andy states, “My advice would be to get yourself pre-qualified so that you know what you’re capable of and then to go out and take advantage of the numerous opportunities that are out there right now while you can.”
